Starting this year, St. Thomas University will award the Rubenstein Law Scholarship for Excellence in Torts. This gift will be awarded to a student in financial need who has earned at least a B+ in Torts.

The Family Christian Association of America (FCAA) celebrated its 33rd Annual Black Achievers of Excellence Luncheon on February 15, 2017, at the Don Shula Hotel located in Miami Lakes, Florida. The program encourages private and public involvement of black history month celebration by creating a public forum honoring African American corporate executives who will pave the way and serve as a role model for the youth.

Our community is under siege due to bigotry, cultural bias, social injustice, and the disregard for the humanity of man. Robert Rubenstein, Bishop Victor T Curry, and DeWayne K. Terry thought we needed to have a community conversation on these issues. On October 17 at 6:30 PM at the New Birth Baptist Church several hundred of us dared to have that conversation, it was indeed a huge success and a step in the right direction.
