About Me

I am a former Metro-Dade police sergeant who enjoyed an 11-year career in law enforcement prior to pursuing my law degree. In 1989, I completed law school and passed the Florida bar. In 1998 became a Board-certified civil trial lawyer and three years later I joined Rubenstein Law. 

Expertise

As the Senior Trial Attorney, I concentrate my practice on serious catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. I’ve settled and tried automobile, motorcycle, and trucking cases, as well as products liability. I am fluent in Spanish and often assist the firm in representing our Hispanic American and Hispanic clients from South America, Central America and the Caribbean. In 2015 I was honored to become a member of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates). ABOTA is a prestigious and selective national Trial Lawyer organization. This year of the 38 nominees, only 6 were granted membership. ABOTA is committed to preserving the constitutional right to trial by jury and maintaining the independence and equity of our courts as the third branch of government.
