Kissimmee, FL (January 22, 2021) - A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash that happened in Kissimmee on Friday. The accident took place around 4:00 p.m. on Neptune Road near Lind Avenue.
According to police, a man was walking on the sidewalk when he was struck by a westbound vehicle. The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The driver of the vehicle abandoned the car in a nearby yard before fleeing the scene on foot. At this time, there has been no information released about the suspect. The crash caused the westbound lanes of the roadway to be closed temporarily before they later reopened.
