Fort Myers, FL (January 23, 2021) - One person was hurt in a multi-car crash that took place in Fort Myers on Thursday, January 21st. The crash happened near Cypress Lake Drive just south of the city.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident scene. According to reports, a total of five cars were involved in the crash. The driver who caused the crash was suspected of driving under the influence and was later arrested for DUI. One person suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. There is no word on their condition at this time. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

No further information has been released.
