Jacksonville, FL (January 28, 2021) - A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that took place on Atlantic Boulevard. The accident happened on Wednesday, January 27th at the intersection with University Boulevard.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. According to officials, a motorcycle and two cars were involved in the crash. The motorcyclist, a woman in her 20s, died at the accident scene. There were no other injuries reported. The drivers of the two vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. There is no information on the events leading up to the crash at this time. All lanes of Atlantic Boulevard were shut down for several hours while investigators worked at the scene. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes.
