Port St. Lucie, FL - One Killed, One Hurt in Crash on U.S. 1

Port St. Lucie, FL (February 3, 2021) - One person was killed and another injured in a crash that happened in Port St. Lucie on Tuesday. The accident took place just after midnight on U.S. 1 near SE Lennard Road.

According to officials, 24-year-old Troy Robert Posey collided with a concrete pole as he made a turn. Posey's passenger, 18-year-old Lillian Barnhart, suffered critical injuries and was rushed to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. A third passenger was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
