Lake County, FL (February 4, 2021) - Two people were killed after a crash in Lake County on Thursday, February 4th. The collision happened around 5:00 a.m. on U.S. Highway 27.
According to officials at the scene, the crash involved a semi-truck and several other vehicles. There is no word at this time on the events leading up to the accident. When rescue crews arrived, they pronounced two people dead at the accident scene. The northbound lanes of the road were closed for several hours while officials worked at the scene.
There is no word on the identity of the victims and it is unclear whether any charges will be filed at this time.
