North Fort Myers, FL (February 5, 2021) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal accident in North Fort Myers on Friday, February 5th. The crash happened on U.S. Highway 41 near Mariana Avenue.
According to troopers, the crash happened in the southbound lanes of the roadway near the intersection with Bayshore Road. According to a report from the scene, two cars were involved in the accident. One person was pronounced dead. Troopers say that the crash was a head-on collision although there is no word on the cause. The deceased victim has not been identified. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
An investigation is ongoing at this time. There is no further information available.
