Orange County, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Pine Hills Road

Orange County, FL (February 7, 2021) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a deadly pedestrian crash in Orange County on Saturday night. The incident happened on Pine Hills Road near Grandview.

According to troopers, a pedestrian was crossing the street when he was hit by a 2016 black Ford Fusion. The passengers in the vehicle fled the scene on foot following the crash while the driver sped off. Rescue crews arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The pedestrian's identity is not available at this time. Police are still searching for the Fusion driver in connection with the crash.

There is no further information available.
