Osceola County, FL - Driver Killed in Two-Car Crash on Turnpike

Osceola County, FL (February 9, 2021) - A driver was killed in a two-car crash that took place in Osceola County on Tuesday, February 9th. The accident happened around 11:00 a.m. near mile marker 195.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol report that an SUV and a pickup truck collided with one another. Following the incident, the SUV overturned and ejected the driver, The victim was later identified as a 56-year-old man from Claremont. The 31-year-old driver of the pickup was not hurt in the accident and will not face any charges. There is no information on the events leading up to the crash.
