Suwannee County, FL - 19-Year-Old Killed in Crash on 39th Drive

Suwannee County, FL (February 17, 2021) - A teenager from Lake City was killed in a crash that happened on Wednesday, February 17th in Suwannee County. The accident took place around 4:00 p.m. on 39th Drive near the intersection with 286th Terrace.

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the 19-year-old victim was traveling westbound on 39th when he collided with a pickup truck traveling east. The teen suffered critical injuries and died at the accident scene. The driver of the other truck was not hurt in the crash. There is no word on what caused the collision to occur. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
