Clearwater, FL (February 18, 2021) - A man from Clearwater was killed in a pedestrian accident that took place on Wednesday afternoon around 6:30 p.m. The crash happened on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard near the intersection with Keene Road.
The Clearwater Fire and Rescue responded to the scene, along with the Clearwater Police Department. According to officials, 76-year-old Patrick Tittle was struck by a car while he was walking in or near the roadway. Tittle was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he later succumbed to his injuries. There is no information surrounding the cause of the accident at this time and officers have not said whether any charges are expected.
