Putnam County, FL - Woman and Child Critically Hurt in Crash on U.S. 17

Putnam County, FL (February 21, 2021) - Police in Putnam County responded to the scene of a serious crash on Saturday morning. The accident took place on U.S. Highway 17 near Crescent City.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the crash. According to a report, a 32-year-old woman was pulling out of a driveway onto U.S. 17 when her car collided with a pickup truck. The woman and a 7-year-old passenger in her vehicle were seriously hurt in the accident. A 28-year-old woman driving the pickup truck was also seriously hurt in the crash. The victims have not been identified at this time. 

An investigation into the accident is ongoing. There is no additional information available.
