Jacksonville, FL - 41-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Blanding Blvd.

Jacksonville, FL (February 21, 2021) - A 41-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian crash in Jacksonville on Saturday night. The accident happened on Blanding Boulevard near I-295 around 11:00 p.m.

According to a report from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the pedestrian was crossing the southbound lanes of Blanding when he was hit by an Audi A4, driven by a 26-year-old. Rescue crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the pedestrian dead from his injuries. He has not been identified at this time. There were no other injuries reported.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing at this time. Charges are pending against the driver of the Audi.
