Miami, FL - Six Hurt in Rollover Crash on Florida’s Turnpike

Miami, FL (February 23, 2021) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to an accident scene on the Florida's Turnpike on Tuesday, February 23rd. The crash happened near the intersection with Southwest 288th Street.

According to officials, a Ford Expedition was traveling northbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and strike a guardrail. There were a total of six occupants in the SUV at the time of the crash. All six occupants were taken to a nearby hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no information on the identity of the injured victims or the cause of the accident at this time.

An investigation into the crash is underway at this time. No further information is available.
