Polk County, FL (February 24, 2021) - A 57-year-old woman from Wauchula died in a crash near a Polk County construction side on Tuesday, February 23rd. The crash occurred on West County Line Road.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's office, Constance Jones was driving a 2007 Honda Fit eastbound on West County Line. As she approached a front-load vehicle, the front-loader swerved in the path of her car. She died at the scene shortly after. The front loader driver, 26-year-old Wilson Bembry of Lakeland was not hurt in the crash. The road was closed for about four hours while police investigated the crash.

In many of these crashes, an innocent victim will suffer injuries at the hands of a negligent driver.
