Hendry County, FL (February 27, 2021) - A 58-year-old man from Labelle was killed in a pedestrian crash in Hendry County early Saturday morning. The incident took place around 12:30 a.m on State Road 29, just north of E Road.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene. According to a report from troopers, the unidentified man was walking in the southbound lane when he was hit by a pickup truck driven by a 32-year-old man from Felda. The pedestrian died at the scene. The pickup truck driver and two juvenile passengers were not hurt in the accident.
There is no information on potential charges at this time. No further information is available.
