St. Lucie County, FL (February 28, 2021) - An injury accident took place on Saturday, February 27th in St. Lucie County. The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. in the 4200 block of South Indian River Drive.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident scene. According to a report, there were injuries resulting from the collision but there is no word on the extent of the injuries at this time. Police have not offered any details regarding the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved. The collision caused the roadway to be closed until around 6:00 p.m. Motorists were advised to use caution when traveling near the scene or to find alternate routes of travel if possible.
