Fort Lauderdale, FL (March 2, 2021) - Two people were injured following a rollover accident in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, March 2nd. The incident took place in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95.

According to troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol, one vehicle rolled over following the impact and traveled down an embankment. The occupants of the vehicle were extricated by rescue crews before being taken to a local hospital for treatment. There is no word on the cause of the crash or the number of injured victims at this time. The conditions of the victims are also unknown.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing. There is no additional information available.
