Tampa, FL (March 3, 2021) - Two women were killed in a crash that took place in Tampa on Tuesday, March 2nd. The accident happened on Dale Mabry Highway around 3:00 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene. Troopers say that a 24-year-old driver was traveling southbound when she crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a car driven by a 23-year-old woman. Both the 24-year-old and the 23-year-old were killed in the accident. Their names have not been released at this time. There is no information on the cause of the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
