Hollywood, FL (March 5, 2021) - Two people were killed and two others suffered injuries in a crash that took place Friday on Interstate 95. The accident happened near Hollywood Boulevard just after 6:00 a.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a driver was traveling southbound on I-95 when his car crashed into a second vehicle at an intersection on the exit ramp. One of the cars rolled over following the collision while the other crashed into a pole. A man and a woman were pronounced dead. The driver of the first vehicle and a passenger in that vehicle were taken to a hospital in critical condition. The identities of the victims are not available at this time. There is no word on the cause of the accident.
An investigation is ongoing. No additional information is available.
