Ocala, FL (March 8, 2021) - Police in Ocala responded to the scene of a fatal crash between a car and a bicycle on Sunday night. The incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. on U.S. Highway 441 near Northwest 95th Street.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol and the Marion County Fire Rescue, the crash took place in the southbound lanes of the roadway. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the accident. The identity of the bicyclist is not available at this time. There is no word on the events leading up to the accident. FHP is still investigating the collision at this time.
