Miami, FL - Two Killed in Fiery RV Crash on Florida’s Turnpike

Miami, FL (January 6, 2021) - Two people were killed after a crash involving an RV in Miami on Wednesday. The crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. on the Florida's Turnpike near SW 112th Avenue. 

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an RV was towing a red Jeep when the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to leave the roadway and crash into a concrete barrier before catching fire. The male driver of the RV was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. A female passenger was rushed to a local hospital where she also succumbed to her injuries. Neither of the victims has been identified at this time. There were no additional vehicles involved and no other injuries were reported.
