West Palm Beach, FL (October 1, 2020) -  A woman and her 3-year-old child were killed in a hit-and-run accident in West Palm Beach on Tuesday, September 29th. The crash happened around 3:00 p.m. in the 3800 block of Pinewood Road.

According to authorities, 34-year-old Catarina Reymundo Marcos was standing near the roadway when a Honda Odyssey backed over her and her 3-year-old daughter. The driver of the Honda failed to stop after hitting the two victims. Marco was transported to a nearby hospital with a head injury. She passed away on Thursday. The 3-year-old child also died on Thursday, two days after the accident. Police are still searching for a suspect in the case and have identified 39-year-old Priscila Nicolas Antonio as a person of interest.

Many victims of these crashes suffered injuries, some of them serious injuries. A hit-and-run crash can be a devastating event for both victims and their families.
