Lake County, FL (October 2, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol was on the scene of a crash in Lake County on Friday, October 2nd. The crash happened around 7:25 p.m. on U.S. Highway 27 near Holly Grove Road in Clermont.

Troopers responded to the scene around 7:35 pm, about 10 minutes after receiving a call. When they arrived, they discovered at least one person suffering from injuries as a result of the accident. The crash was partially blocking the roadway. There is no information on the cause of the accident at this time or the number of injured victims.

An investigation is ongoing at this time. No additional information is available.
