Florida car accidents take place about every 92 seconds and there are more than 105,000 hit-and-crashes each year. Drivers who fail to yield right of way, stop at a stop sign, or engage in some other kind of negligent behavior are far more likely to cause a destructive accident. About 25% of all reported Florida accidents are hit-and-run crashes. These crashes are often very devastating both for the victims as well as their family members.
