Clearwater, FL (September 26, 2020) - A car and two motorcycles were involved in a crash that took place in Clearwater on Friday, September 25th. The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on State Road 590 near Lucas Drive.
According to reports from the scene, a dark-colored BMW four-door vehicle collided with two motorcycles. A woman driving the BMW briefly got out of the vehicle before fleeing the scene. One motorcyclist was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg in critical condition. The second motorcyclist was treated on the scene by rescue crews. Both motorcycles were attempting to make a left turn onto State Road 590 when they were struck by the BMW.
The crash remains under investigation at this time. There are no additional details available at this time.
