Miami, FL (October 5, 2020) - Police in Miami responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash in Miami on Monday, October 5th. The accident took place on Southwest 29th Avenue near West Flagler Street.

According to reports, a man was walking near the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle. He suffered serious injuries and was later pronounced dead. The roadway was closed in both directions as officers conducted an investigation into the crash. There is no word on whether the driver remained at the scene following the incident and no details have been given on how the collision occurred. Motorists were advised to avoid the area as they traveled near the scene.

An investigation remains ongoing at this time. There is no additional information available.
