The Villages, FL (October 7, 2020) - A golf car driver was hurt in a crash involving a sedan in The Villages on Tuesday. The crash was reported around 2:00 p.m. along the golf cart path near Morse Boulevard and El Camino Road.
Police say that the 72-year-old driver of the golf cart entered the roundabout and collided with a sedan driven by a 68-year-old resident of The Villages. The golf cart rolled over following the crash. The driver suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center. There is no word on the driver's condition at this time. The driver of the sedan was not injured in the accident. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating. Troopers have not released the names of those involved in the collision.
