Hit-and-run accidents can be a devastating event for victims and their families. Although drivers are legally required to remain at the scene of a crash, they often choose to flee in an effort to avoid personal responsibility for the crash. Many of these drivers have caused the crash through their negligent driving behaviors and will face liability when they are apprehended.
