Lake County, FL (October 8, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to an injury accident in Lake County on Thursday, October 7th. The crash happened along State Road 19 near the intersection with E. Altoona Road.
Troopers first received a call regarding the accident around 7:42 p.m. and arrived on the scene shortly thereafter. Rescue crews were also dispatched following reports of at least one injury sustained in the collision. The crash caused a roadblock as police worked to remove debris from the roadway and investigate the collision. There is no word at this time on the cause of the accident or the condition of the injured victim.
An investigation is ongoing. No additional information is available.
