Viera, FL (October 9, 2020) - Police were at the scene of an injury accident in Viera on Friday morning, October 9th. The crash took place on Wickham Road near the intersection with State Road 404.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash just before 8:00 a.m. According to troopers, the crash happened in the northbound lanes of the roadway. The crash caused the road to be blocked and motorists were advised to use caution when traveling near the scene. Officials say at least one person was injured but there is no word at this time on the nature or extent of the victim's injuries. 

An investigation into the crash is ongoing. There is no additional information available.
