Bradenton, FL- 24-Year-Old Killed in Pedestrian Crash on U.S. 41

Bradenton, FL (October 12, 2020) - A female pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Bradenton on Sunday. The crash took place on U.S. 41.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident scene. When officials arrived, they found the deceased woman lying in the roadway. Her identity has not been revealed at this time. Troopers believe that the woman was crossing the road when she was hit by an orange and black Ford F-150 pickup truck that fled the crash scene. Police are still looking tor the driver of the truck at this time and have released images of the vehicle in an effort to get the public to come forward with information on the driver.

An investigation remains ongoing. There is no further information available at this time.
