There are about 250,000 injury crashes reported every year in Florida. While most of these crashes will involve cars, some of them will involve scooters, motorcycles, and mopeds. Smaller vehicles are not designed to handle the impacts of a serious crash with a larger vehicle and drivers will usually face serious injuries following a crash. Police will continue to investigate this accident in order to determine which driver was responsible.
