Miramar Beach, FL - Hit-and-Run Crash Reported on Scenic Gulf Drive

Miramar Beach, FL (October 15, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a hit-and-run accident in Miramar Beach on Thursday, October 15th. The crash happened on Scenic Gulf Drive around 7:00 p.m.

Troopers were at the scene about five minutes after the crash occurred. According to witnesses, the crash involved injuries to at least one person. The driver fled the crash before officers could arrive, leaving the injured victim at the scene. There is no update on the condition of the person who was hit. There are few details surrounding the accident at this time. The roadway was clear for passing motorists as the collision did not cause a roadblock.

An investigation is ongoing. There is no further information available.
