North Fort Myers, FL (September 19, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a hit-and-run crash with injuries on Friday on North Fort Myers. The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on State Road 31 near the intersection with Lucky Lane.

According to troopers, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the roadway. The crash caused a blockage in the southbound lanes and motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible. At least one person sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The nature and extent of the injuries were not immediately revealed. The road remained blocked for several hours as troopers investigated the crash.

No further information is available at this time.
