Ruskin, FL (October 16, 2020) - Police were at the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash in Ruskin on Friday. The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. along U.S Highway 41 near 11th Avenue NE.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a man was driving an SUV southbound on U.S. 41 when he struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian, who has not been identified at this time, died at the accident scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured as a result of the accident. There is no word at this time on whether any charges are expected to be filed in connection with the incident. An investigation remains ongoing.
