Pinellas Park, FL (October 16, 2020) - A person in a wheelchair was killed after being struck by a car in Pinellas Park. The incident took place around 12:40 a.m. on Friday morning, October 10th. 

According to police, the individual in a wheelchair was trying to cross Ulmerton Road at the intersection with 34th Street North when they were struck by an oncoming vehicle. The victim died at the scene. Police have not identified the individual in the wheelchair or the driver who was involved in the accident. There is no word on what led up to the crash or whether there are potential charges against the driver.
