St. Petersburg, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Thursday Crash on 66th Street N.

St. Petersburg, FL (October 17, 2020) - Police are investigating after a pedestrian crash claimed the life of an individual in St. Petersburg on Thursday, October 15th. The crash occurred around 10:00 p.m. on 34th Avenue North at the intersection with 66th Street North.

There are few details on the events leading up to the crash. The driver remained at the scene after striking the pedestrian and cooperated with authorities. The pedestrian, who has not been identified, died at the accident scene. Police closed down 66th Street North while they investigated the accident.

An investigation is ongoing at this time. There is no word on whether any charges are expected against the driver. No additional details are available.
