Pinellas Park, FL (September 14, 2020) - Two people were hurt in a three-vehicle crash that took place on Monday in Pinellas Park. The accident happened around 3:50 a.m. on 66th Street near the intersection with 72nd Avenue North
Police say that 33-year-old Akeem Edwards was driving a Ford Mustang in a reckless manner near the crash scene when the accident occurred. Edwards fled the scene of the accident after it took place. After being apprehended, both Edwards and 47-year-old Liljana Elmazaj of Clearwater were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of a third vehicle involved in the crash was not hurt. Edwards faces charges for his role in the crash.
