Hillsborough County, FL (October 19, 2020) - A pickup truck driver died in a crash that occurred on U.S. 92 in Hillsborough County on Saturday, October 17th. The crash happened just after 2:00 a.m. near the intersection with Parsons Avenue.
According to a report, the driver of a pickup was traveling eastbound on U.S. 92 when, for unknown reasons, the driver of the pickup veered into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a sedan drive by a 53-year-old man from Palm Harbor. The driver of the pickup died at the accident scene. The driver of the sedan suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
There is no additional information available at this time. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
