Hillsborough County, FL (September 8, 2020) - Three people were killed and another was injured following a car accident on Sheldon Road in Hillsborough County. The crash was reported around 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sheldon Road and Linebaugh Avenue in Westchase.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, a 2020 Chevy Malibu ran a red light at the intersection and was struck by a 2017 Nissan Altima that was traveling eastbound on West Linebaugh. The Malibu then struck a pole. Three people inside the car were ejected and died at the crash scene. The Altima driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. No one involved in the crash has been identified at this time.
