Marion County, FL (September 7, 2020) - Police and rescue crews responded to the scene of an injury crash in Marion County on Sunday, September 6th. The crash took place just before 4:00 p.m. on West Anthony Road near Northwest 35th Street.
According to reports, a car and a motorcycle were involved in a crash at the intersection. The Ocala Police Department, along with the Marion County Fire Rescue, responded to the crash scene. Rescue crews provided medical aid at the scene before taking both the motorcyclist and a passenger in the vehicle to the hospital. The motorcyclist was admitted as a trauma alert. There is no word on the extent of the injuries sustained or the cause of the crash. No one involved has been identified at this time.
Police are still investigating the crash and its cause. There is no further information available.
