Broward County, FL (September 3, 2020) - A rollover crash in Broward County on Thursday sent six people to the hospital and left authorities searching for a missing 1-year-old boy. The crash took place along I-75 near mile marker 28.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, a car was traveling along I-75 when it experienced a tire blowout. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway and roll over before coming to rest. The Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue squad responded to the scene. A total of six patients were taken to nearby hospitals in unknown condition. Police are still searching for a 1-year-old passenger in the vehicle.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area and were told to find alternate routes of travel if possible. An investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
