Hollywood, FL (October 23, 2020) - A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Hollywood. The crash took place on Friday, October 23rd along Hollywood Boulevard near I-95.
The Hollywood Police Department, along with rescue workers, were called to the crash scene. According to police, the pedestrian was walking near the roadway during rush hour traffic when he was hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the crash scene. No other injuries were reported. The crash caused major traffic backups near the scene and motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time. There is no further information available.
