Orlando, FL - 43-Year-Old Construction Worker Killed while Directing Traffic

Orlando, FL (October 23, 2020) - A 43-year-old worker was killed in a construction accident that took place in Orlando on Friday. The crash happened around 6:55 a.m. on Poinciana Boulevard.

Police say that the worker was standing in the road near a construction site and directing vehicles to stop. The man was hit by a vehicle in the right-hand lane that did not stop for his signal. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The man's identity has not been released at this time and there were no other injuries reported as a result of the accident.

An investigation is ongoing at this time. No further details are available.
