Cape Coral, FL - Police Respond to Injury Crash on Pine Island Road

Cape Coral, FL (September 1, 2020) - The Cape Coral Police Department responded to the scene of an injury accident in the city on Tuesday. The crash took place in the 1000 block of NE Pine Island Road.

Police say that the crash took place in the westbound lanes of the roadway. When officers arrived, they determined that at least one person had been hurt in the crash. Rescue crews also responded to the scene to provide assistance to the injured victim. Cape Coral police advised motorists to avoid the area. There is no word at this time on what caused the accident to occur and also there is no information on the extent of the victim's injuries.
