Fort Myers, FL (October 26, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal accident in Fort Myers on Monday. The crash took place on U.S. 41 near the intersection with Dana Drive.
According to troopers, the crash involved a box truck and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and was later pronounced dead as a result of the crash. There is no word on whether anyone else was injured and police have not released any details on the cause of the accident. Motorists were advised to avoid the scene and to find alternate routes of travel if possible.
An investigation is ongoing at this time. There is no additional information available.
There is certainly nothing more devastating or heartbreaking than the loss of a loved one in a Florida car accident.
