Lake County, FL (October 26, 2020) - A 48-year-old man was killed in a crash that took place in Lake County on Sunday. The crash happened along County Road 437 near the intersection with Oak Tree Drive.

According to police, a car was traveling southbound on CR 437. For unknown reasons, the car left its lanes of travel and veered into the opposite lane before colliding with a car traveling northbound. The driver of the northbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Authorities have not identified the victim at this time. There is no word on whether the other driver sustained injuries as a result of the crash.

The accident remains under investigation at this time and there is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed. No further details are available.
