Fort Myers, FL (October 27, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal crash in Fort Myers on Monday, October 26th. Troopers were called to the crash near mile marker 142 around 11:25 a.m.

There are few details regarding the accident at this time. According to a report, three cars were involved in the collision and one person was killed as a result of the accident. There is no word on additional injuries and police have not said how the crash occurred. Traffic was slowed at the scene for several hours as drivers were advised to use caution and to find alternate routes of travel if possible.

There is no additional information available at this time. An investigation remains ongoing.
